Otunba Akin Alabi

Akin Alabi is the founder of Nairabet and the pioneer of sports betting in Nigeria. Alongside its award-winning website, Nairabet operates 800+ retail outlets in Nigeria alone. Since its launch in 2009, NairaBet is one of the top gaming operators and most respected brands in Africa. Akin is the founding and current President of the Association of Nigerian Bookmakers and regularly speaks at the top sports betting conferences globally. Akin is an Entrepreneur, Politician, Philanthropist and Author, andi is heavily involved in philanthropic works. He is the founder of the Akin Alabi Foundation, a non-governmental, not for profit outfit, aimed at improving the wellbeing of the average Nigerian. Every venture, every aspect of his life, he leads with the motto, touching lives one person at a time.

Jason Njoku

Jason Njoku is Founder and CEO of IROKOtv, the home of Nollywood content. He has pioneered the African digital content market by bringing Nollywood (Nigerian cinema) to a global audience, and in the process has raised over $40m in investment from international VCs, including Tiger Global, Kinnevik, RISE Capital and Canal+. Alongside IROKO, Jason is the founder and Managing Partner at Spark.ng an emerging market-focused seed investment fund. Spark invests in tomorrow’s African talent, today, and is one of the most prolific and pioneering seed investors across Nigeria and Africa. Spark counts some of the top consumer internet companies in Nigeria in its portfolio, including Hotels.ng, ToLet.com.ng, Paystack, Drinks.ng, Medsafe and OgaVenue. Jason is one of the most widely featured African entrepreneurs in the media, having featured in international outlets such as Bloomberg, the FT, Economist, BBC, Fortune, TechCrunch, Forbes, Le Monde, CNN, Fast Company and many others. In 2013, Njoku was crowned as the CNBC Africa West Africa Young Business Leader and in 2014, he was recognised as one of Fast Company’s Top 1000 most Creative People in Business.
